Recent SigEp News
SigEp has started off another busy semester. During the upcoming Spring ’09 semester, SigEp will sponsor its annual “Feed the Need” food drive, held in conjunction with the Northeast Iowa Food Bank and the UNI Department of Residence. This semester we will also be hosting our annual Hoops For Hearts fundraiser for Edison Elementary and our date auction “Snag a SigEp Stud” to raise money for the Northeast Iowa Battered Women’s Shelter.
We will also be participating in intramural sports including 3 on 3 basketball, 4 on 4 volleyball, wrestling, the intramural track meet, bowling, and several other events. With a long history of all-sport championships, Sigma Phi Epsilon is reaching for yet another championship.
Our academic efforts continue to set the bar for the UNI Greek Community. We’ve just completed our second consecutive semester with the #1 fraternity GPA and have continued our streak of GPAs above the UNI average. Sigma Phi Epsilon continues to make the best at UNI even better while fulfilling our goal of “Building Balanced Leaders for the World’s Communities”.
